About Sharon Watkins and BloodMoon Graphics

I can remember my first published piece of fiction. I was 6 years old and it was published in the annual 'Writings on the Wall' publication at my elementary school. Since then I have been hooked to books and everything about them.

Before the self publishing boom I use to relish trips to Barnes and Noble and Borders. I would spend what seemed like hours going through endless shelves of books. I loved looking at the covers and the art that it took to bring a book to life for prospective readers. It stuck with me for the long time.

About 15 years ago I started to learn how to make graphics with Photoshop for friends who were starting their own websites. I taught myself through endless tutorials I found online and cataloging that information in my head. Since that time I have become a Photoshop whiz. It garnered me jobs I previously thought I would never have. Such as working for an entertainment company and editing and doing layouts for an indie horror magazine.

I have submerged myself and have completely embraced the self publishing industry. In just the past few years it has exploded and giving many who were locked out of traditional publishing before a chance to shine and thrive.

I am sure that even though you are a writer you have browsed through books on various sites. What was the first thing that caught your eye? More than likely it was the cover. Avid readers will tell you that the cover is what will usually lead them to checking a book out to see if they want to purchase it or not.

I want to put my skills to work for you. Let my experience put your book in front of the line in purchases of potential readers. I am easy to converse with and am eager to hear what you have in mind for a cover. We will work together and I will not quit until you are completely satisfied with your experience with me.

Browse my online portfolio and samples to see what I have done thus far and send me a message to get your cover and promotional graphics started today.

After initial contact we will work out what it is you exactly need and want. I will ask for specific details in order to make sure you are completely satisfied with your service rendered. We will discuss genre, themes and imagery you want captured in your graphics.

I do have access to stock images. If there is something you particularly want then you can purchase it then I will utilize it for you.

Due to certain internet trolls and others I do ask for a deposit up front. This is a process that takes time and concentration. I have to know that my clients are serious and want the best.

I find that my prices are quite reasonable and easy to work with.  I believe that everyone should have access to quality graphics that stand up against the competition. I want your book to be successful and stand out to potential readers.

So what do you get when hiring me to render your graphics? You get someone who is proficient and loves what she does. Producing graphics is not a job for me. It is a love and I am always thrilled to create new pieces of art. You get peace of mind that your art needs are being met and in turn freeing up your time to devote to writing.

Please, if you have any questions do not hesitate to email me on my contact page. I will reply as soon as I can. I am usually not too far away from a device so I am always on top of my emails. I look forward to working with you and fulfilling your graphic needs.
